Minitube USA is proud to announce the addition of two new staff members, Haile Townsend and Todd Ryback, as well as an internal transition of a current team member, Lynda Riese.
Haile Townsend joined Minitube USA on April 2nd, as the Bovine & Small Ruminant Account Manager. In 2017, she completed her Master’s degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Reproductive Physiology at Illinois State University. Her graduate research included the study of bovine estrus synchronization and artificial insemination, along with the creation of a cost-benefit analysis for the university’s beef herd during breeding season. During her time at Illinois State University, she worked as a research assistant & farm hand for the agricultural animal science department working with cattle, swine and sheep. In addition to her Masters, Haile also holds a degree in Veterinary Technology for both companion animals and livestock species. Prior to coming to Minitube, Haile worked at the University of Missouri as a Research Specialist where she helped manage the Swine Research and Teaching Farm. Over the past 6 years, Haile as acquired essential hands on experience both working and training within the animal health and animal science fields and we are excited to have her on board to share this knowledge with our customers. Haile looks forward to assisting all of Minitube’s bovine and small ruminant producers by sharing her passion for the livestock industry and her desire to provide high quality service and customer support.
Todd Ryback joined Minitube USA in November 2017, as a service technician and will specialize in semen tube packaging machines. He holds degrees in both electronics and business which launched his career into assembly automation and medical lab equipment. Todd brings to Minitube over 30 years of field service experience in hospital laboratories and meat packing facilities. This paired with his customer centric, whatever-it-takes mindset, make him an ideal fit with Minitube’s service focused philosophy. Todd is excited to apply his skills to a new industry and looks forward to servicing all of our customers.
As of January 2018, after many years of dedicated sales service in the bovine and small ruminant industry, Lynda Riese has transitioned into Minitube USA’s Office Administrator position. Lynda is excited for this new challenge and looks forward to providing essential support for the entire team at Minitube USA. She will also continue to be in daily contact with all of our customers as she will warmly greet you over the phone or in person should you visit our office.
