11th Minitube Satellite Symposium at SINSUI

The 11th edition of the Minitube Satellite Symposium was a great success! The event was integrated in the XV SINSUI (International Pig Farming Symposium), organized by UFRGS in Porto Alegre/RS.

The conference was moderated by Dr. Paulo Bennemann (SAN Vet) and Dr. Rogério Pinho (Minitube). At the opening, the director of Minitub do Brasil, Alexandre Marchetti, presented the company's development, market trends and Minitube's new products and services.

The event had a new record attendance and addressed advances in swine reproduction, which were featured in the following presentations:

• Jason Ross (USA) - Pelvic Organ Prolapses: risk factors observed in the North American scenario.
• Djane Dallanora (Brazil) - Pelvic Organ Prolapses: what measures are being taken in the face of this scenario?
• João Victor Facchini Rodrigues (Brazil) - Pelvic Organ Prolapse: How does this affect retention and longevity in the herd?
• Kilian Simmet (Germany) - The ADA Concept: Accurated Dosage of Antibiotics.
• Martin Schulze (Germany) - Stress and other risk factors for boar sperm quality: new results from applied research in Europe.

The audience was able to ask questions and participate in two interesting discussion sessions.
