Energy audit confirms sustainable progress

A recent energy audit, conducted in accordance with DIN EN 16247-1, shows that Minitüb GmbH continues to make consistent progress toward greater energy efficiency and sustainable operations.

Compared to the previous audit, energy consumption per employee has significantly decreased at all German locations. For instance, electricity consumption per employee at one of our main sites decreased from approximately 2,400 kWh to 1,300 kWh. Improvements were also made for other energy sources despite an increase in employee numbers and expanded production capacities. These results clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of our ongoing efforts to optimize production processes, energy use, and resource efficiency.

The auditors were impressed by the progress achieved and the consistent implementation of our efficiency measures. However, sustainability means far more to us than energy savings alone. We rely on renewable energy sources, use efficient building technologies, and actively promote biodiversity on our company premises.

The audit confirms our commitment to actively embracing and continuously advancing sustainability. At Minitube, environmental and social responsibility are central elements of our corporate strategy. Our progress motivates us to expand existing measures and continue investing in innovative, environmentally friendly solutions.
