Equine Embryo Transfer Course by Minitub Ibérica and UNEX

Minitub Ibérica, in collaboration with the University of Extremadura (UNEX), successfully organized the second edition of course on the collection, handling, transfer and vitrification of equine embryos. Held on January 31 and February 1, this intensive training program brought together eight veterinarians specialized in equine reproduction, most of whom had little or no previous experience with this technique.

As with the previous edition, the course was divided into two days of theoretical and practical sessions, allowing participants to apply their newly acquired knowledge in a hands-on setting. The success of this initiative was largely due to the close and long-standing collaboration between Minitub Ibérica and the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Extremadura.

The course was led by Dr. Beatriz Macías, with the invaluable support of Dr. Mª Jesús Sánchez and Mónica Domínguez from the Complutense University of Madrid. Their expertise and dedication ensured that the participants received comprehensive training in equine embryo transfer, covering everything from embryo collection to vitrification and transfer, whether fresh or thawed.

Minitub Ibérica was represented by Carmen de Alba and Janine Wernli, who provided logistical support and helped tailor Minitube's high quality products to the specific needs of each participant. Minitub Ibérica's involvement underscores our commitment to advancing reproductive technologies and providing veterinarians with cutting-edge solutions.

We are proud to support the education and training of equine reproduction specialists and look forward to future collaborations that will continue to drive excellence in the field.
