Minitube honored at the Bavarian Founders Award

Second place for successful business succession

Minitube took second place in the “Business Succession” category at the 2026 Bavarian Founders Award. This honor recognizes the successful generational transition and future-oriented development of our family-owned company.
 
At the end of 2025, management of the company was transferred to a new executive board. Since then, Katharina Rohrmüller (CEO), Dr. Kilian Simmet (CTO), Thomas Schultze (COO), and Wolfram Veitl (CCO) have been leading Minitube into the future together.
 
For the first time, the founding family is being joined on the Executive Board by experienced external executives. This structure combines family continuity and established corporate values with fresh perspectives and additional expertise.
 
"Taking second place is a great honor for us and confirms that we are on the right path," says Katharina Rohrmüller. "Our goal is to preserve what has proven successful while continuing to develop Minitube for the future."


To mark the occasion, members of the Simmet family gathered with representatives of Sparkasse Landshut, the District Administrator of the Landshut district, and members of the Sparkasse Executive Board—a reflection of Minitube’s strong family roots and close ties to the region.
