Minitube in Argentina: One more AndroVision® in the country
In the first week of May 2022, another AndroVision® was installed in Argentina, reinforcing the position of the most used CASA System in the country.
This time, the client that will work with the system will be CIIADO Genética, Centro Integral de Inseminación Artificial del Oeste, dedicated to the production and sales of bovine semen, located in the city of Darregueira, southwest of the Buenos Aires province. The installation and training was carried out by Maurício Barros, Technical-Commercial Consultant in Minitub do Brasil, a subsidiary of the Minitube International group. The visit was coordinated by Ana Donovan, Commercial Manager of the Reproduction Line at Phibro Animal Health, Minitube distributor in Argentina. The complete CIIADO technical team was trained in the use of technology, including Mariana Hernández, Luciana Hernández, Mauro Berrueta and Mauro Picardi.
A technical visit was carried out at the Bull center of CIALE Alta, in Capitán Sarmiento, approximately two hours from the Buenos Aires city. We were received by the Production Manager, Juan Loguercio, to review the processes and optimize the use of their AndroVision® CASA System, installed in July/2019.
Subsequently, a demonstration of AndroVision® CASA System was performed for Tulio Acquarone, Technical Director of the CIACU Center (Centro de Inseminación Artificial Curuzú), located in Curuzú Cuatiá, in the province of Corrientes, northern Argentina. In addition to bovine, CIACU also offers products and services for the equine species.
Finally, a technical visit took place at the semen production center of The Good Pig, a partner of Topigs Norsvin in Argentina, located in General Las Heras, province of Buenos Aires. The boar stud works with all Minitube equipment and consumables, which were installed in 2020. The visit was done together with Gervasio Siciliano, Technical Commercial Responsible for the Porcine Reproduction line at Phibro Animal Health and accompanied by the technician Angélica Luna from Topigs Norsvin.
