Minitube USA fall Canine TCI seminars

A record November snowstorm and cold weather could not dampen the spirits of attendees to the three scheduled TCI seminars sessions, hosted by Minitube USA in Madison, Wisconsin. Travelling from all parts of the United States and Canada participants braved snow and record low temperatures to learn the art of Transcervical Insemination in Canine.

The three sessions marked a milestone in the long running event, with the last being recorded as the fortieth session since the class was introduced in 2006. Seminar organizer, John Lichty noted that Minitube USA is the pioneer for such an event, as well as being responsible for training over 240 veterinarians in the Transcervical Insemination procedure in North America. The secret to our success with the course’s longevity, is the intimate class size and attention to detail for both the lecture and practical, observes Lichty.

For the past six years, we have had the good fortune to have Dr Bruce Christensen, former Theriogenology Professor at University of California, Davis, Veterinary College and current Veterinary practice owner specializing in reproduction, as lead instructor. Dr Christensen brings a unique viewpoint, being experienced in both academia and private practice, and our participants can completely identify with his perspective, says Lichty.
