Support for farmers after disastrous flooding

After a historic flooding in July, countless farms in the affected areas of Western Germany have been struggling with extensive, sometimes life-threatening consequences. With a donation of 5,000 EUR, Minitube wants to financially contribute to the reconstruction of the agriculture sector.

In mid-July, dramatic images from Germany hit the media around the world: A flood disaster of unprecedented dimension hit North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate in particular with full force.

Countless agricultural businesses are now struggling with far-reaching consequences, some of which threaten their very existence. Floodwaters ruined food supplies and crops, destroyed buildings and equipment. Fields and meadows are littered with rubble and rubbish and need to be restored.

There has been great solidarity among the farmers in the aftermath of the flooding, paving the way to the road to recovery. However, the reconstruction of many of the affected farms also comes with an extensive financial toll.

This is where Minitube wants to help: The company is contributing 5,000 EUR to a fundraising campaign coordinated by the DBV, the German Farmers' Association.
